At Caedmon Primary School, pupils from Year 3 to 6 learn to read, write and speak French. The National Curriculum is followed and this subject is taught through the key concepts of: Spoken Language; Written Language and Cultural Understanding. Our French curriculum is delivered by a specialist teacher from ‘Lingotots’. Pupils work through the specialist programme devised by Lingotots , actively learning and speaking the language. Pupils practise the written language through the completion of their Lingotots work booklet.
